Oh My-Lanta! If you wanted more Fuller House, well, “you’ve got it, dude!”  Netflix and show creator Jeff Franklin announced today that Fuller House will be back for a 3rd season and it will be premiering on a very special date.

This year marks the 30-year anniversary of the original series Full House which first premiered on September 22, 1987.  Can you believe that it’s been 30 years?  Back when the first episodes aired, the show looked a little different than the Full House we have come to know and love over the years.  The part of Danny Tanner, for example, wasn’t played by Bob Saget originally.  For the pilot of the series, which remained unaired, Saget was not available so, the part went to another actor.  Uncle Jesse Katsopolis was originally named Jesse Cochran.  His last name was also changed after the unaired pilot episode.  After a few more changes, we finally got the series that became a weekly part of many of our childhoods.

In honor of the 30-year anniversary, season 3 of Fuller House will be premiering on the anniversary date of the original series, September 22, 2017.  The 3rd season will be broken out into two parts.  The first 9 episodes of the season will become available on September 22nd with an additional 9 episodes premiering sometime in December.  The second premiere date is still to be determined.

The whole Fuller House cast will be returning including stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin Andrea Barber, Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Soni Nicole Bringas, Dashiell and Fox Messitt, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Scott Weinger, John Brotherton, Ashley Liao and Adam Hagenbuch.  And, of course, the series wouldn’t be complete without guest appearances from John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier.

Check out the throwback announcement below from Jeff Franklin via Instagram.  Are you excited for more Fuller House?

Ps.  There are still no signs of the Olsen twins returning.
