Friends Reunion: You’ll Never Believe Which Two Cast Members Almost Hooked Up Offscreen!

The Friends Reunion finally aired and it was awesome! Not only was it super cool to see the entire cast reunite but we learned a ton of new information about what the show was like behind the scenes. You’ll never believe which two cast members almost hooked up offscreen!
The reunion was an emotional journey for everyone involved. The cast was incredibly emotional being back on the set where the hit series was filmed. There is only one other time since the show ended that the cast has all been together in one room.
There was a segment in the reunion where the cast was asked about any off-screen hookups. Well, you’ll never believe which two cast members almost hooked up. You won’t believe it, but at the same time, you’ll find yourself thinking it made total sense.
When the question was asked, Jennifer Aniston was the first who had something to say. She suggested that Schwimmer jump in as well, which is when the big news was revealed!
“I mean, the first season, I had a major crush on Jen. At some point, we were crushing hard on each other,” Schwimmer admitted. “But it was like two ships passing, because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”
“Bulls—,” Matt LeBlanc joked under his breath.
Aniston then chimed in, too. She started to talk about their first on-screen kiss and a conversation she had with Schwimmer about it.
“Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television,'” she said. “Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop.”
She continued, “So we just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.”
A lot of the cast members ended up agreeing it was probably for the best. They think it made that kiss so much better. They also were worried about what might have happened if the romance hadn’t worked out.
