Freddie Highmore Gets Creative (and Wet) in Comedy Central’s ‘Taskmaster’
The Good Doctor‘s Freddie Highmore is trading in his scrubs and lab coat for a spot on contestants row in Comedy Central’s new game show Taskmaster.
Originally airing in the U.K., the Comedy Central version is hosted by Reggie Watts and Alex Horne and features an unwitting panel of celebrity contestants.
Joining Highmore for some seriously hilarious hijinx are Kate Berlant (High Maintenance, Search Party), Dillon Francis (DJ, Record Producer), Lisa Lampanelli (stand-up and insult comic), and Ron Funches (Trolls, Undateable).
The rules of the game are simple – complete a set of tasks given by the hosts and receive points. The contestant with the most points wins. The tasks, while they may seem simple, have a bit of a twist thrown in which leads to utter insanity.
Check out two sneak peek clips below. Taskmaster premieres Friday, April 27th with two back-to-back episodes on 11 PM ET/PT. The series will continue to air two episodes each Friday over the next four weeks. Be sure to tune in to see what zany tasks these celebs are asked to complete next!
