Look out ‘Bob’s Burgers‘ because ‘Lil Kev‘ is coming to Fox. ‘Lil Kev‘ is the newest adult animation that Fox has ordered a pilot episode for that will star Kevin Hart. The storyline will be based on Kevin Hart’s experiences growing up, his relationship with his mother and his outlook on his life, challenges and his decision to be positive despite them all.

According to the article on deadline.com, the show will be about a 12-year-old, pint-sized, optimistic, highly imaginative kid who navigates growing up in the crime-filled inner-city of North Philly with the help and sometimes hindrance of his strong, quick-tempered mother, drug-addicted father, pessimistic older brother, ex-con uncle and wise-ass talking dog.

This is just one of several animated projects that Fox is currently working on developing. They have had huge success with ‘Family Guy‘, ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers‘ and they feel this is the right path to be taking. Kevin Hart will be working alongside some great comedic talent such as Wanda Sykes, Keith Robertson, Deon Cole and Gerald “Slink” Johnson.
