Fortnite Season 7 is upon us! Last Thursday players entered a wild winter wonderland covering a quarter of the map. The addition of planes and weapon and vehicle skins were also welcomed as we said goodbye to last season. We are already one week in, so let’s dive right into our second list of challenges!
- Search a Chest in seven different Named Locations
This is a simple one. Simply drop in a named area of the map, open a few chests, and you are good! You can do all of these in one match if you are fast enough (The storm may have something to say about that).
- Damage opponents with five different types of weapons
Another really easy one. Simply fire different types of weapons at people and if you get a hit, it counts! This includes pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, sub machine guns, etc. This does not work if you use a pump shotgun and then a tactical shotgun.
- Eliminate three opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields (Hard)
One that that is hard but not too hard (unless you stink at killing opponents like I do). The easiest way to accomplish this would be to drop on Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields right at the beginning. You may have better loot in Snobby Shores, but Fatal Fields May be the better spot to get eliminations given the lack of cover (although that may get you killed).
Battlepass Challenges (paid)
- Stage 1,2,3 of 3: Visit Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park, Dusty Divot and Lonely Lodge, Frosty Flights and Tomato Temple in a single match
Another visit to Snobby shores! This is easier just as the previous if you land at Snobby Shores and after getting a little loot immediately heading northeast towards Pleasant Park. This will pop through as long as you reach the outskirts of Pleasant Park. This is a multistage challenge so you will have to go to two locations of further distances in different matches.
- Play the Sheet Music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge
This is a returning challenge as several are. You simply have to step on the giant piano keys in the locations mentioned in the order it shows on the music stands in front of them.
- Compete in a Dance-Off at an abandoned mansion (Hard)
Somewhat hard in design but easy enough with a partner (does not require an opponent). You drop at the abandoned mansion south of Lonely Lodge and go down to the basement. There is a hidden dance floor. You simply emote and follow the colored tiles as they move. You do not even have to win the dance-off to complete this challenge!
- Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away
Another challenge that to some may be easy but is hard for someone like me who cannot seem to figure out the bullet drop on a sniper rifle. This is a challenge you will want to use assault rifles or a sniper rifle to get the best shot (I got mine done last season with a thermal scoped assault rifle).
That is it for your list of challenges! Have you already finished week 2? Do some repeating challenges make you hesitant to buy the battlepass or more likely? Let us know in the comments!
