First ‘Star Trek’ Photo Reveal Features Sonequa Martin-Green

We finally get an awesome first look at the new Star Trek with a brand new photo!
The picture features the film’s two leading gals, Michelle Yeoh (Captain Philippa Georgiou) and Sonequa Martin-Green (First Officer Michael Burnham) in action in what seems to be a desert on a now unknown planet.
The photo debuted over at Entertainment Weekly this morning, and seems to give off more of a Star Wars vibe than Star Trek. There are no signs of the familiar Trek uniforms.
But if you look closely the ladies have some hints of the old Star Trek, Green’s character has what seems to be a communicator on her belt, and there is what looks to be a Tricorder in her satchel.
