First Reactions of ‘Black Adam’ are Now Online

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has spent years trying to make DC anti-hero Black Adam a reality. On Wednesday night, he achieved his goal. The world premiere of Black Adam‘s world took place on Wednesday night, allowing fans to witness what Johnson and director Juame Collet-Serra were able to create. The embargo on those who saw the picture early was lifted, and journalists began sharing their thoughts on social media.

SPOILER ALERT: audiences seem to love Black Adam a lot.

Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com was one of the first to see Black Adam, and he had nothing but praise for the new DC film. According to Davis, the character of Black Adam is a role that Johnson excels at, and there is “epic, nonstop action” throughout the film. He said that a sequel would be nice in the immediate future, but that the tale could be improved in the next movie.

BlackAdam is an adrenaline rush that doesn’t stop. It compelled me to demand a second installment with a better storyline right away. It’s a straight shot of excitement when it moves. The characters are great, especially Teth-Adam and Doctor Fate. It’s a bad-a** flick. “It made me want a sequel with a smoother story immediately,” says one person on Twitter.”

Most critics are in agreement that Black Adam‘s best quality is its action-packed plot. Erik Davis took to Twitter to say that Black Adam has “Tons of action, characters you’re instantly invested in & terrific pacing.”

In a follow-up tweet, Davis praised Black Adam for his “really excellent world building… some of the best we’ve seen from DC.” He rounded out his comments by mentioning that Black Adam left him wanting more (in a good way) ).

Dorian Parks went online to give rave reviews for Black Adam, one of his most anticipated films of the entire year. He wrote that the action scenes were “incredible,” and praised the film overall, saying it left him with “high hopes for the future of the DCEU.” of DC’s Extended Universe franchise.

In her review of Black Adam, Courtney Howard praised Johnson’s performance as the titular character, calling it “terrific” and saying that the movie lays out “building blocks for a larger, grand universe.”
