FIRST LOOK: ‘Fear the Walking Dead’s’ Dramatic Return
Are you ready? We are. The long awaited, second half of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead’s third season is just weeks away but what can we look forward to seeing in the show’s back half?
Here is your first look at what we can expect with actual footage with cast and producer commentary. Check it out below:
“Second half of season 3 is dramatic…It’s going to get pretty messy.” ~Kim Dickens Madison Clark)
“…All bets are off, the nation has arrived at the ranch.” ~ Dave Erickson (Show runner)
“We’re landing a little deeper into the apocalypse where the rules are really changing.” ~Colman Doming (Victor Strand)
“Lots of action…things you do not expect.” ~ Ruben Blades (Daniel Salazar)
Looks as though tensions are still mounting especially with whatever deal Madison has made with Walker that brings him and the Black Hat Tribe to the ranch. Lines will be drawn within the groups and where loyalties lie, will be intriguing to see.
With Jake being the leader, will Madison sit back or will she continue to manipulate the situation and Troy Otto for the safety of herself and her family? Nick seems to be on board with his mother but is Alicia? She looks like her loyalties may lie with Jake and what will happen if and when Jake and Troy find out that Jeremiah didn’t take himself out.
Other than the conflicts within, we see that at some point some or all of the group will be reunited with either Strand, Daniel or both. Seems like the ranch may be running low on their water supply, especially with the new members. Assuming that a group may go out to make a water run, our guess is that at some point they make their way to the dam.
Oh, and are we ever going to see Luciana again? Will that be the question going into season 4 like #WhereIsOfelia was? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
So gear up for an awesome return of Fear the Walking Dead with the mid-season premiere airing on September 10, on AMC.
