First Beauty and the Beast Trailer Released
The first trailer for the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast has finally been released and it looks like the film will capture the essence of the original. I got chills from the music in the trailer alone. We get our first look and feel for the other inhabitants of the castle, which I think is the hardest thing to translate to live action. Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellan are going to be fantastic as Lumiere and Cogsworth. I wasn’t originally sold on the look of the Beast just because I am used to him being a little bit fluffier, but his appearance in the film makes him seem more fearsome. It works for this take on the film. Emma Watson is perfectly cast as Belle and I can’t wait to see more. From the costumes to the setting, everything looks amazing.
