From the zombie apocalypse to Xavier’s School for the Gifted! The Wrap has reported that Elizabeth Rodriguez (Liza Ortiz from Fear the Walking Dead) is said to be in negotiations to joining the cast of the upcoming Wolverine 3 film.
In recent weeks, the film has had some major casting announcements such as Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier. Additional reported casting includes Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Bram Stoker’s Dracula), Stephen Merchant (Hall Pass), Eriq La Salle (ER) and Elise Neal (Hustle & Flow).
Rodriguez’s potential role, while relatively minor, is said to be crucial to the plot of the film. Before appearing in the AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, Rodriguez was best known for her role in Orange Is The New Black.
Fan Fest News previously reported that filming is already underway for the project, which has earned an R rating and is expected to be Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as Wolverine.
Wolverine 3 is set to arrive in theaters on March 3, 2017.
