‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Cast Kim Dickens, Colman Domingo, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Danay Garcia Reunite at Walker Stalker Atlanta

Walker Stalker Atlanta is in full swing this weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center for the biggest Walking Dead fan meetup all year!

Today is day two, and next up is a panel with Fear The Walking Dead Vets, Kim Dickens (Madison), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia), Colman Domingo (Strand), and Danay Garcia (Luciana).

The cast talked about first jobs, Colman said he worked at McDonald’s!

The first thing Alycia Debnam-Carey say she bought with her first paycheck was a mermaid pearlescent Mac eyeshadow.

Danay Garcia says she went to a spa, and enjoyed some treatments with milk and honey.

It was a pair of two tones jeans for Colman, and blue suede tennis shoes for Kim Dickens.

When asked what celebrities they geek over, Kim Dickens told a recent story.

I just worked with Kevin Costner and I kissed him. I’ve been watching him forever and he’s so great. Such a great actor, so I kind of geeked out over that.

So even though Kim Dickens is no longer on Fear The Walking Dead, she is working on some pretty awesome projects.

“Things are moving right along.” She added.

Alycia shared a story about geeking out at Comic Con. She says Game of Thrones actor Alfie Allen was standing next to her in line for a bagel, and all she could mutter was “Food’s Good.”

Danay Garcia’s story was also at Comic Con and thought the Game of Thrones cast was so well dressed.

I was at the green room at Comic Con with Fear The Walking Dead, Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones together there. Usually we look like crap but at Comic Con we kind of dressed up. But compared to the Game of Thrones people. They come from far away.

Colman Domingo says,

“I geeked out when I met Mel Brooks. My other job is a playwright and he came and saw a play of mine in new york. and after the show hes in the lobby and I’m like *mumbling*. And he’s like “Wonderful play”.

On Strand’s relationship with Alycia and if Strand will stay with the crew:

I think victor is very complicated, but I think that because they have such history. There’s so much history between Alycia and Strand. We’ve watched their evolution, seen their loss. I think they’re bonded for life. I think the show does raise the question what is family. We become blood relatives. I say he’ll stick around. We’ll see what the writers say.

Why did he burn Abigail to the ground when he loves it so much?

I was bored. I think Victor realized after the scene with the tuxedo jacket and champagne that he had to let go of the trappings of before, so he could move forward. So he walked off with a new horrible outfit that was not Ralph Lauren, but he realized that what he had to do.

Kim Dickens shared that she and Andrew Lincoln once had a conversation about colliding on the show, but he didn’t know she was leaving Fear at the time.

Last time I saw Andy, he was like “Everyone’s excited, they think we’re gonna meet when we crossover. And I was like yeah. We’re not.

“I didn’t tell him in the moment” she said.

On if Kim keeps watching the show since she’s left,

I watched some of them. Yeah, I’m so proud. That’s why I wanted to watch it, because I love the show. I love my cast mates. I was super proud of Colman for directing. I thought it was an incredible episode. It’s still in my heart.

She said she loved the way her final scenes were shot in slow motion, saying that the final product was so powerful.

On if Madison is actually dead,

I have no idea. I’m definitely working on other things, and I think that part of this genre. That you lose characters unexpectedly sometimes. I don’t think that’s how it works. I don’t think they do come back.

Although, she does have doubts if Madison would’ve let her babies go like that.

“I’m pretty sure Madison would’ve shimmied up that wall, but…”

She mentioned her Showtime Pilot, Queen Fur, which she just filmed as well. She mentioned that she plays a beauty queen, and has another daughter

Alycia Debnam-Carey was asked about the fandom loving her so much. She thanked fans,

The outpouring of love is extraordinary, and I don’t think it’s something you can get used to. It makes me emotional, so when I do things like this, I really give apiece of my heart to it, because it means to much to everyone. It’s overwhelming, extraordinary, and humbling. I’m forever grateful for it. Everyone’s been so beautiful and lovely.

The four ended by giving future actors some advice which included listening, contributing and being kind.
