Fast & Furious 10: Jason Momoa Dishes First Details on His Role as Film’s Villain

Dwayne Johnson may have ruled out a return when he slammed Vin Diesel’s attempts to help him comeback, but Fast & Furious 10 wasted no time in courting another tall, burly, good-looking movie star who spent part of their youth in Hawaii.

The first major addition was Jason Momoa as Aquaman, who will square off against Dominic Toretto and the family in the franchise’s conclusion.

History has shown that the majority of recent Fast Saga bad guys wind up aligning with the good guys eventually, thus there’s still a chance his unknown character might switch sides by the time Justin Lin draws the enormous franchise to an end.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Mamoa shared the first details on his opponent, but didn’t go into specifics, and he sounded delighted to be working with Diesel and another series regular Charlize Theron.

“He’s amazing. He’s ornery. He’s misunderstood. I get to shoot with some really cool people that I have never – I get to work with Charlize [Theron] first up, which I’m really excited about. She’s amazing Then I get to go to some cool places. Obviously work with the whole cast – most of the cast. I’m sure that’s why they hired me. But yeah, I’m excited I’m working with Vin. I’m excited I’m working with Charlize.”

Production on Fast & Furious 10 is set to begin soon, and we can’t wait to see what Momoa has in store as the property’s newest big-name A-lister.
