Fans Petition Marvel to Give Captain America A Boyfriend

Earlier this week, Frozen fans began a social media petition called #GiveElsaaGirlfriend, and now Marvel fans are getting in on it, but for a different character.
They want Marvel to #GiveCaptainaBoyfriend. These petitions sprung from the fact that there has never been an LGBT Disney character, and Marvel falls under the Disney umbrella.
Steve Rogers AKA Captain American ends up dating his dead girlfriend’s niece Sharon Carter in the recent film and fans are now asking-how is that better than dating a guy?
#GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend reached over 54,000 tweets Tuesday.
Who would the guy he ends up with be you ask? Many are saying Bucky Barnes is the best option.
