Explaining Those ‘Ant-Man & the Wasp’ Post-Credits Scenes

Caution: Spoilers may lie ahead!

We know that Ant-Man & The Wasp depicts events that occur before Avengers: Infinity War. It certainly stands alone, but it also throws fans a few curveballs in the form of post-credit scenes that end up connecting the dots to April’s Infinity War.

We even get a further look into what happens after Thanos snaps and how it effects Ant-Man.

In the first credits scene of the film, we’re taken forward with the feature’s story. Hank Pym, and Hope and Janet van Dyne are tying to help Ghost heal. To do this they send Ant-Man back into the Quantum Realm to get the energy needed to reverse the destruction. He returns through Hank’s tunnel, and it doesn’t really go as planned.

He gets the energy and says he’s ready to be taken out of the Quantum Realm and back to the real world. Nothing happens. Yep, flashback to the real world and all that’s left in the team’s place is dust.

It’s more of the snap aftermath.

The best credits scene comes when we see that the silly and loveable giant ant is still there, happily playing the drums at Scott Lang’s house. During this scene, we also see that an Emergency system has come across the television, most likely as people begin to realize the horror that’s happened across the globe.

So there we have it, another look at what’s happening in our beloved MCU post-Thanos’ snap. How Ant-Man gets out of the Quantum Realm is left to our imaginations or until Avengers 4.
