People are eagerly anticipating the upcoming film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy‘s. Even a brief glimpse of Matthew Lillard‘s character, William Afton, drove fans wild with excitement. However, it’s not just the villain that captured people’s attention. A photo of the film’s set was shared on social media, and fans couldn’t help but wish it was a real restaurant.

 

Dolly Dachshund, an extra for Blumhouse’s upcoming ‘FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S’ Movie, has released a behind-the-scenes image of the set for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place!

Twitter user Jonny Blox shared a behind-the-scenes image, originally captured by Dolly Dachshund, featuring the set of Freddy Fazbear‘s Pizzeria, which will play a prominent role in the film. The set showcased an 80s to 90s-style family restaurant reminiscent of Chuck E Cheese, filled with references to the iconic indie horror video game.

Fans were astonished to see the dedication of Blumhouse in faithfully recreating the infamous restaurant for the film. Considering the high expectations set by video game movies and TV shows in recent years, it’s understandable why so much effort has been put into it.

In addition to Matthew Lillard, the cast of Five Nights at Freddy‘s includes Josh Hutcherson as the night guard, Mike Schmidt. The film is based on the indie horror video game released on August 8, 2014. It follows a night security guard enduring the night shifts at the haunted pizzeria, where the animatronics come to life and turn into bloodthirsty creatures.

For those eagerly awaiting the adaptation of this horror video game on the big screen, Five Nights at Freddy‘s will be released in theaters and on Peacock streaming platform on October 27, 2023.
