Marvel enthusiasts, Elizabeth Olsen is back and ready to cause a stir in the anticipated Disney Plus show: Agatha: Coven of Chaos! Get excited for her return to the MCU.

When discussing her new HBO miniseries Love & Death with Deadline, Olsen was asked if she would reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch in Coven of Chaos. Her response was very intriguing – watch the clip below where she remarks “I think I’ll be back.”

Kathryn Hahn is set to return as Agatha Harkness in the thrilling and highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, Agatha: Coven of Chaos! Scheduled for a Winter 2023/2024 release date, this movie will also star Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke. Although plot details remain unknown at this time, it’s likely that Elizabeth Olsen may make an exciting cameo appearance.

Fans of WandaVision, naturally, were expecting to see Wanda in the series; after all, Agatha had been detained by her. Moreover, if you watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness then you probably remember that Wanda was apparently killed off when she destroyed Darkhold Castle and entombed herself amidst the ruinous debris.

Wanda’s magical capabilities are second to none in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it would take more than a few rocks to put an end to her. Additionally, Agatha has managed somehow to elude Wanda’s authority – and this could be linked into Multiverse of Madness since she was occupied during that movie’s proceedings. This might mean the new series will explain how such a feat is possible!

Olsen spoke of her possibly returning cautiously, likely because of Marvel’s watchful eyes. The series is already in production and she may have a good idea about Wanda Maximoff’s role in the Agatha: Coven Of Chaos series. Though viewers were eager to see more from the character soon, it seems they will need to wait until either late this year or early next before any details are revealed.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait until the end of the year for more Elizabeth Olsen – she will be appearing as Candy Montgomery in HBO’s Love & Death miniseries premiering April 27th on HBO Max. And if that wasn’t enough, Marvel fans can check out both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness now available exclusively on Disney Plus!
