Ed Sheeran’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Gig Features him Singing to Arya

Game of Thrones has a knack for bringing special guests onto the set and season 7 is no different.
Ed Sheeran will be making a guest appearance as we noted back in early March and it seems like he’ll be doing what he does best- serenading us, err Arya Stark with his swoon worthy voice.
Sheeran will be playing a musician and although Maisie Williams is a super huge fan, Arya Stark isn’t.
Arya is a powerful woman and can’t be bothered with such a distraction. She is reported to compliment Sheeran’s song though.
“Oh that’s a nice song”
It is still unclear what Sheeran’s role will entail, other than him singing. Sheeran himself told the Daily Star that he doesn’t die during his brief scene.
“‘I do know which role I am going to play. I don’t die in it, I don’t die.”
I can’t wait until July to find out more! Now that Sheeran is joining the Game of Thrones cameo club, he is among an elite grouping of stars like Coldplay, Mastodon, Of Monsters and Men, and Sigur Rós. Lucky him!
Season 7 returns July 16, 2017 to HBO.
