On Thursday morning, the BAFTA Awards nominations were revealed, and there were several pleasant surprises for fans. Dune was recognized with 11 BAFTA nominations in total, including a nod for Best Film. It also got an award for Adapted Screenplay, Original Score, Casting, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Makeup & Hair (for the score), Sound (for the score), and Special Visual Effects.
