It had already been announced that The Walking Dead‘s Chandler Riggs would be appearing in a guest role on the series and that SNL alum Jay Pharoah would also be appearing as Rome’s (played by Romany Malco) brother. Now, The Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy star Drea de Matteo will be joining the series in a recurring role beginning in this week’s episode.

Deadline reports that Matteo will be playing the role of Mrs. Nelson, a woman who now occupies the address at which the mysterious Barbara Morgan once lived. No additional details are being shared at this time about Matteo’s character.

Matteo most recently starred as Tess Nazario in NBC’s Shades of Blue. You can catch a glimpse of her in the promo for Thursday night’s new episode of A Million Little Things. Check out the promo below.

A Million Little Things features a critically-acclaimed ensemble cast led David Giuntoli, Ron Livingston, Romany Malco, and James Roday. The series also stars Stephanie Szostak, Allison Miller, Christina Moses, Christina Ochoa, Grace Park, and Lizzy Greene.

DJ Nash is the creator and executive producer; Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, and James Griffiths are executive producers. A Million Little Things is produced by ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment.

The official synopsis for the series reads:

[row]“They say friendship isn’t one big thing, it’s a million little things, and that’s true for a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it’s just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way, they discover that friends may be the one thing to save them from themselves.”[/row]

A Million Little Things airs on Thursdays at 9 PM EST on ABC.
