As first reported by many outlets such as Yahoo, based on a blog post by Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, in a deal that was made in 2012 but seemingly finalized today, that starting September 2016, Netflix will start offering all Disney and Disney owned content. This means all Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar! As of this post, it is unclear whether any pre-2016 film releases from those studios will be available at a later time (presumably). However, this is still major news and I cannot wait to see what exciting content they will be offering us Netflixers come September 2016!
Greg was born and
raised with a love for wanting to
understand how life, the universe and
everything worked, so you can say his mind would always want to be in
a galaxy
far, far away. He also has a love for most things nerdy, including Ghostbusters,
Lord of the
Rings, Marvel, DC Comics and Harry Potter. He is very excited to
have found a “home” to express his various
views on Star Wars and everything
else that can be found on Jakku. Hope it earns him more than one quarter
portion. Darn you Unkar Plutt!
