Disney Reveals Poster for Live-Action ‘Aladdin’

Disney has revealed its very first power for the upcoming live-action version of Aladdin!
Asad Ayaz, President of Marketing tweeted the image Wednesday with the words, “Our teaser poster for #Disney’s Live Action #Aladdin. In theaters 2019.“

The poster says: Choose Wisely across an image of the iconic lantern that houses the genie.
Aladdin certainly has a big choice to make when he’s given his three wishes!
Fans replied to the image with gifs of the animated genie, who was famously voiced by the late Robin Williams.

Will Smith is the new Genie. He also shared the image via his social media with the caption “LEMME OUT! Can’t wait for y’all to see me BLUE!”
Aladdin stars Will Smith, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, and Navid Negahban as Sultan.
It’s directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and written by John August (Dark Shadows, Big Fish).
It is based on the 1992 animated film and stories from “One Thousand and One Nights.”
Aladdin hits theaters on May 24, 2019.
