Well, we say this coming! It wasn’t too long ago that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer leaked. Now, Marvel and Sony have released it officially, so we got our first good look at the film. It has everything that was promised to us, more or less! I repeat the Spider-Man No Way Home trailer was released officially, after waiting forever!
We’ve known about the rumors forever. The trailer didn’t confirm that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in the film but it seems more likely than ever. People also weren’t kidding when they said this film would deal with the Multiverse!
There are other things that were hinted at or outright confirmed. Spider-Man is clearly in some legal trouble for, well, being Spider-Man. Doctor Strange is going to help him have people forget his identity, but it looks like that’s what causes all this madness in the first place.
But forget all of that, and let’s talk about what was really impressive about the trailer. The Multiverse. We saw Peter travel through the Multiverse, and wherever he landed had some… shall we say interesting villains.
For starters, we saw Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus. No lie, he showed up in the trailer with a menacing “Hello, Peter.” But he wasn’t the only villain who made an appearance… in a way. We saw something that looked suspiciously like Electro’s Lightning.
Even bigger, possibly, was the fact that we saw a pumpkin bomb. Marvel would have to be crazy to tease us like that and then not have Green Goblin in the film. Could this confirm that Willem Dafoe really has returned?
As awesome as the trailer was, and as much as it revealed, it also led to so many more questions. Questions we’ll need to wait a while to have answered, which will make the wait to this December so much more torturous.
Are you happy the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer was released officially though? We waited long enough. Let us know what you thought in the comments though! We’re dying to geek out with you!
