Uma did warn us at the end of Descendant’s 2 that she’d be back saying,”You didn’t think this was the end of the story, did you?” Well, we’ve got our first official look at Uma (China Anne McClain), Harry Hook (Thomas Doherty) and Gil (Dylan Playfair) from Descendants 3, and they’re definitely back looking fiercer than ever! While the original four Descendants (Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay) have seemingly let go of their villain roots, Uma & Co. don’t look to be quite as willing to change over to the Auradon state of mind. Check out the exclusive video and image below!
The trio looks fantastic and has certainly gotten a few upgrades from the last film in the costume department. As the daughter of Ursula, Uma is still rocking the turquoise, but this time she’s got a much straighter hairstyle and swapped out her signature fringe skirt for some awesome leather pants. Harry Hook has seemed to trade in his brighter red for a more darker look and some extra eyeliner, but he’s still got his Hook! Son of Gaston, Gil, is looking just as sharp as his dad with some long locks and dashing smile all the ladies will surely love!
Just as a refresher, here’s a look at what their Descendants 2 costumes looked like!
The official plot of Descendants 3 has been kept under wraps, but we do know thanks to Disney Channel’s teaser announcement that Mal’s (Dove Cameron) dad will be playing a huge role. Considering they just brought on Cheyenne Jackson to play the role of Hades, many think that he will play into that story. In addition to Jackson, D3 has added Jadah Marie as Dr. Facilier’s daughter, Jamal Sims as Dr. Facilier, and Christian Convery and Luke Roessler as Smee’s sons, Squeaky and Squirmy. They join a returning cast of Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, BooBoo Stewart, Cameron Boyce and Mitchell Hope.
The film is expected to hit theaters next year on Disney Channel with Kenny Ortega once again at the helm!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
