“I punish the guilty. If you’re lucky, they give you the opportunity to do the right thing. This ain’t one of those times.”

The newest trailer for The Equalizer 2 dropped on Sunday and this film looks to be jam-packed with high-octane action!

When we first catch up with former government agent Robert McCall (played by Denzel Washington), he seems to be living a fairly low-key, quiet, and settled-down life as a local Lyft driver. All of that changes, however, after McCall sets out on a mission of revenge for one of his passengers – a young woman who gets into his car and is clearly in bad shape. From that point forward, everything just spirals out of control in the trailer.

Washington stars in the first sequel film of his entire career alongside Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.

Based on the television series created by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim, the action thriller film is written by Richard Wenk and directed by Antoine Fuqua with executive Producers Molly Allen, and David J. Bloomfield. Washington along with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Alex Siskin, Steve Tisch, Mace Neufeld, Tony Eldridge, and Michael Sloan serve as producers on the film.

The Equalizer 2 races into theaters on July 20, 2018. What do you think about the trailer? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
