Deathstroke Rebirth Comic Review

I’ve been so excited for this comic to come, ever since they showed us a preview of the comic. Now it finally arrived in the mail today and I can’t even tell you in words how happy I am that I have it in my hands. Not only the story, but the way the comic is drawn, is one of my favorites that I own right now.

So let’s break it down.

Let’s look at the cover artwork:

This cover was made by artists ACO & Romulo Fajardo Jr. It’s very simple, but it’s very dramatic and shows you exactly about who it is.

From here on, there will be spoilers. So if you still want to buy it and read it, don’t read any further.

What I’m about to show you are the very first two pages. What interests me so much about this story, is that it shows a Slade with his children.  It’s a great storyline about him getting payed by people to protect them and how he still sees his past in his future. His children are still on his mind, even though he seemed to be a cold hearted bastard. I’m very curious as what Priest will do for the story in this series.

All the artwork in the comic itself are made by Carlo Pagulayan in pencils, Jason Paz in ink and Jeromy Cox did the colors. Artwork wise, like I said, this is one of my favorites and I can’t wait what this comic subscription will bring me!
The first one in the Deathstroke comic series will come out on August 24. You’ll read all about it here on Fan Fest!
