Deadpool Turns to the X-Men in New ‘Deadpool 2’ Image

With the X-Force officially arriving in the first trailer, we got more and more excited by the smallest things released on Deadpool 2. The new image is no exception to this.
Empire released exclusive image today of the upcoming film, and it’s everything we were hoping to get. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) brings back the original team of Deadpool (2016). The Merc with a Mouth is holding out his hand towards a kid we know as Russell (Julian Dennison), with Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) by his side, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand). The main plot (that we know of) includes Wade and his gang to keep Russel away from the time-traveler Cable (Josh Brolin).
It seems that Wade Wilson wanted to join the yellow and black themed team and put on an X-Men shirt. Non the less, we are very excited to see the old gang back together. Are you as thrilled as us to see the old gang back together?
Deadpool 2 hits theatres on May 18.
