With Deadpool close to its release, the marketing campaign has started to pick up. Of course, Deadpool wouldn’t want you to forget the first movie, that’s why 20th Century Fox released a new Blu-Ray edition for Deadpool’s second anniversary! Best Buy is joining this campaign with a 4K UHD Steelbook; it includes original cover art, stickers, car decals, temporary tattoos, paper dolls and two exclusive patches.

This unique edition comes with many extra features that any Deadpool fan would die to get. This is what you get for the anniversary special:

  • Deleted/Extended Scenes with optional audio commentary by Director Tim Miller
  • Gag Reel
  • Deadpool’s Fun Sack
  • Audio Commentary with Director Tim Miller and Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld
  • Audio Commentary with Ryan Reynolds and writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese
  • From Comics to Screen… to Screen
  • Galleries: concept art, storyboards, costumes, pre-vis and stunt-vis

To make Deadpool’s anniversary even more special, on May 15 a few selected movies will get the Deadpool treatment, where DP will photobomb the original cover art. The few films that will get this new look will be Edward Scissorhands, Logan (of course), War Of The Planet Of The Apes, and more titles available in the Walmart store and online!

This is 20th Century Fox’ description of the new edition:

“It’s been two long years since the Merc with a Mouth last graced movie screens with his presence. Now he’s back with the best anniversary present money can buy (without needing a safe word and a shot of penicillin).”

You can already buy these at Walmart and Best Buy, because these editions got released on April 24!

Will you collect the new editions? Let us know in the comments below.

Deadpool 2 will hit theaters on May 18.
