‘Deadpool 2’: Josh Brolin Shares His Transformation Process as Cable
Yesterday, it was announced that Julian Dennison was joining the Deadpool 2 cast. To add to the excitement, Josh Brolin’s posted a new picture to his Instagram account, where he gave fans a glimpse of his Cable transformation.
The caption reads, “Insanity on the brink. Face is morphing into something machine, fierce, hair sliced, arm machined, bulged. Where is Deadpool?!? Looking. Looking. All I got are these two…molding me, prodding, turning me into something hard.
Even though we don’t have the finished look yet, if we compare what we have seen in Brolin’s transformation to the Cable we see in the comics, we can speculate what they might be doing to his face and arm.
If we look at the comic pictures above in the gallery, the scars that are visible around the eye will most likely be on Josh Brolin’s face. Just how much scarring will we see? Can’t be sure, since it could also be the side where his eye lights up. Our prediction is that this will be the side of the scars.
Brolin has already cut his hair to fit the character, and he obviously has begun a rigorous exercise regimen for the role since Cable is very muscular in the comics. However, what about the costume itself? Will they keep it close to what we have seen the comics – blue, gray, and yellow colors?
We are thoroughly enjoying the little hints they are giving fans and patiently wait for the first trailer.
