‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Trailer: Demonic Unicorns, the 70s and More Wonderous Things
The newest trailer for season four of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is a gift.
The fourth season of the series premieres on Monday, and is apparently going to bring more magic than ever. They’ve brought in the big guns in that realm: unicorns.
The trailer also features characters dressed as 70s hippies, horror film-inspired monsters, and characters from other lore. It’s like Once Upon a Time, but funnier.
At the end of the 2 minute clip we see John Constantine (Matt Ryan) back to work his magic. Ryan was promoted to series regular recently.
Legends of Tomorrow‘s third season ended as the Legends finally defeat Mallus the demon. Hellblazer barges into their beach bash with a severed dragon head, warning them of more inter-timeline demons to come.
Those demons are actually folklore characters, including a dishearteningly evil unicorn, and a moody fairy godmother that we see in the teaser. The unicorn violently impales people.
Child’s Play, Little Shop of Horrors and Swamp Thing are referenced in the trailer which is linked below:
The Legends will not be partaking in the Arrowverse crossover event, ‘Elseworlds’, because they’ll be busy crossing over itself, and dealing with a lot of time travel.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season four premieres Monday, Oct. 22 on The CW.
Are you excited to see the 70s Legends fight demonic unicorns? Or would you prefer Beebo?
