Resident funnyman Dax Shepard is returning to his TV roots for a guest-starring role on NBC’s Will & Grace revival. Shepard had previously starred in NBC’s beloved drama Parenthood as the lovable goofball Crosby Braverman for the shows entire run from 2010-2015, so it’s exciting to see him heading back to the network even for just one night.
While there aren’t any details about his upcoming role at this time we do know that Will & Grace knows what it’s doing when it comes to guest stars. Some of the revival’s recent guest stars include Glee’s Jane Lynch and New Girl’s Max Greenfield. Most recently Shepard starred in and directed an adaptation of CHIPS on the big screen and also guest starred on Fox’s new comedy Ghosted.
After being off the air for ten years, NBC decided to hop on the revival chain and gave the long-beloved Will & Grace a 16 episode season, which ended up being once more adored by viewers and critics and was easily picked up for a second season. The series follows Will, a gay lawyer, and Grace, a straight interior designer who live together in a New York City apartment. It stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes.
You can catch Will & Grace Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
