David F. Sandberg Teases New ‘Shazam!’ Merchandise
One of the most exciting things that come with a new movie, for me, is everything around it, including the merchandise. With Shazam creeping closer to its release, we have to start saving our money, for not only seeing the movie more than twice in theaters, but also for its gadgets that we want (need) to have.
David F. Sandberg is already making my wallet scream aggressively not to throw all my money towards new merchandise, to make my dorm room look extra. He took to Instagram to share some new merchandise that will be hitting the shelves soon, one including the Shazam Thunder Punch action figure. The action figure resurfaced an old rumor about the Seven Deadly Sins coming to the screen to fight Billy Batson. Take a look at his post below:
“Meetings with WB Consumer Products are the best meetings (swipe),” Sandberg posted. “Got to see some awesome upcoming toys as well that I can’t wait to be official.”
Not only do the pictures include a closer look to the Thunder Punch action figure, but it also shows Mark Strong’s Dr. Thaddeus Sivana in action figure form, a red and gold shiny cap, and a light-up chest piece. Now, I don’t know what you are thinking, but I’m thinking I need two of everything. I can’t wait for more merchandise to be released and share it with the world.

Movie synopsis:
“We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard.
