Daryl Dixon’s Wings Get an Upgrade in New Teaser for ‘Ride With Norman Reedus’

AMC revealed to us a sneak peak at this week’s episode of Ride With Norman Reedus, in which Reedus gets a bit of a Heavy Metal makeover.
In episode 304, ‘Valley of the Sun’, Norman Reedus and Austin Amelio explore the desert wasteland of Arizona on a heavy metal adventure to meet some of the country’s bravest heroes.
Reedus meets up with heavy metal vocalist Rob Halford of Grammy winning Judas Priest. In the clip below, Halford gifts Reedus a brand new upgraded leather jacket. This time, it’s a coat complete with fringe and features the famous Daryl Dixon wing pattern on the back. Reedus poses in what Halford calls the “double crossed horn look.”
In the clip, you may even see Norman cry tears of happiness, as Halford explains his inspiration for the jacket, which was based on Reedus’s Walking Dead character. Austin Amelio looks on.
Ride with Norman Reedus focuses on The Walking Dead star and combines his love of riding and cultural exploration. Reedus hits the open road yet again, and this season, he goes global. This season’s special guests include The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Melissa McBride, Steven Yeun, Austin Amelio, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, Rob Halford, and Marilyn Manson.
Ride with Norman Reedus is produced by Left/Right with Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver and Anneka Jones serving as Executive Producers along with Reedus.
This episode of Ride will air Sunday, March 3rd, late night on AMC.
