COLONY: Talk Colony Podcast interviews Bram actor, Alex Neustaedter

Alex Neustaedter, who plays Bram Bowman on Colony, was interviewed by the Talk Colony Podcast recently.

At the time of the interview, Alex’s character, Bram, has been reunited with his family after an emotional and oppressive stay at a labor camp outside the infamous wall. But things are not looking so cheery inside the Los Angeles Bloc either. The Bowman family is on the lam and staying underground in Eric Broussard’s bunker, all of them now clearly on the side of the Resistance.

Alex shares insight on his character’s motivations this season and how it felt working so closely with Peter Jacobson. Alex also talked about the bond Bram has with his family and how it is closer to one parent than the other.

The actor also shares some behind the scenes scoop about his fight scenes that take place in the labor camp and laments over having to be on the losing end each time!

Alex hints at more drama for Bram in the rest of the season and says his entanglement with Alan Snyder is by no means finished. Listeners learn that Alex enjoys surfing and snowboarding and has a new movie up for release titled Miles.

Fianlly, Alex also plays a game where he must choose the character of Alan Snyder or Will Bowman for a host (wink, wink!) of imaginary, and often silly, scenarios.  Alex’s take on the two characters is hilarious as he tries to choose one of them for help with things like buying a car or throwing a birthday party.

Finally, here is a recent TV ad for Colony in which Fan Fest quotes were featured. The dramatic tone of the ad is a very effective representation of all the threats and impossible choices that Bram and the Bowman family are facing in occupied Los Angeles.
