‘Colony’: Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed
It is something Colony fans have long-awaited. We now have a release date for season 3.
The first two seasons of Colony premiered in the month of January. When January 2018 came and went without any new episodes of Colony, fans began to get nervous. When would the dystopian sci-fi fan favorite return? Viewers speculated about the production’s move to Vancouver as well as the timing in regard to the Winter Olympics.
Fans can now rest easy. The third season of Colony returns on May 2nd on USA Network.
The network’s press release mentions a time jump of six months. When season 2 leaves off the Bowman family has escaped the Los Angeles Bloc with the help of our favorite manipulator and former Proxy, Alan Snyder. The release shares that the Bowmans enjoy a limited period of peace before something tumultuous happens.
And let us not forget about Eric Broussard, the face of the Resistance. Where does he fit into all of this? He is last seen inside the Los Angeles bloc, not outside of it like the Bowmans.
The network also shares that fans can anticipate learning even more about the mysterious hosts. Several questions were answered in season 2 with new ones replacing the old. The unknown is definitely a draw for fans who love to theorize and speculate about who is really in charge in this new world.
Viewers are anxious to learn more about the pod-like containers found at the labor camp and in the BlackJack vehicles. Perhaps even more mystery surrounds the reason why both Will and Broussard were able to escape drones pointed directly at them. What is that about?
Thankfully, the wait for more Colony is now less than two months away. Fans can also look forward to Sarah Wayne Callies’ directorial debut on the series as well as a new character played by Wayne Brady.
I cannot wait to get back to Colony on May 2nd and continue chipping away at mysteries old and new.
