Cobra Kai continues! Premiering last spring on YouTube Red (now YouTube Premium), Cobra Kai has succeeded in continuing our beloved Karate Kid saga. With over 55 million views on the first episode alone, it came as no surprise that the hit series brought us a second stellar season released on April 24th with Season 3 now in the works!

“Season 2 picked up following the shocking cliffhanger featuring the return of John Kreese (Martin Kove). When a new rivalry between opposing dojos is born in the aftermath of Cobra Kai’s controversial win at the All-Valley Championships, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) realizes his next countermove is to open his own karate training school called Miyagi-Do, in honor of his mentor Mr. Miyagi.” – Source: Deadline

Cobra Kai has not only won over the hearts of Karate Kid connoisseurs everywhere but the streaming sensation has sparked a whole new generation of fans that are retro-revitalized! AND… there is even better news! YouTube announced that not only will Cobra Kai be back for a third season in 2020, it will no longer require a paid subscription to watch.

Season 2 of Cobra Kai will begin streaming for free starting Sept. 11, with one episode dropping each week. Season 1, however, will only be free for two weeks, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 11.” – Source: Entertainment Weekly
