CMT Music Awards 2017 Complete List of Winners: Keith Urban Wins Big, Carrie Underwood Makes CMT History

The CMT Music Awards aired Wednesday night and it was a party from start to finish.  Nashville star Charles Esten (who plays Deacon Claybourne on the CMT series) eloquently hosted the evening which honored some of country music’s biggest names and hottest performances.

Keith Urban was the big winner of the night, walking way with the top honor of “Video of the Year” for his song Blue Ain’t Your Color.  He also won “Male Video of the Year” for the same song and “Collaborative Video of the Year” which is an honor he shared with Carrie Underwood for their song The Fighter.

Underwood broke her own record by Wednesday night by continuing to be the most awarded act in the history of the CMT Awards.  In addition to her win with Urban, she also took home the honor of “Female Video of the Year” for her song Church Bells which brought her up to a total of 17 award wins, more than any other country musician currently.
