It’s only been a few days since Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced that they were separating, sending all of their adoring fans into a tailspin, but it looks like there is still going to be a lot more story to tell for the beloved comedic couple.
Faris’ upcoming book, Unqualified, which is the same name as her popular podcast, released its cover artwork on Tuesday that came with a small detail proving that timing is everything. The cover shows Faris holding up a “Most Improved” ribbon against a nice pale blue background, but just underneath her name, it reads “Foreward By Chris Pratt”. It’s no surprise that Pratt wrote the forward for Faris’ book as the two have always been huge cheerleaders and supporters for each other. Plus, it appears he will be a main topic of discussion in it.
The description of the book reads, “Her comic memoir and first book, Unqualified, will share Anna’s candid, sympathetic, and entertaining stories of love lost and won. Part memoir, part humorous, unflinching advice from her hit podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the book will reveal Anna’s unique take on how to navigate the bizarre, chaotic, and worthwhile adventure of finding love.”
In the wake of their separation announcement on Sunday, it remains unclear whether or not Dutton Publishing will still plan for the book to hit shelves on October 24th as planned. One of the main topics in Unqualified is love and Pratt will surely be a huge component of that, so it would seem obvious that they will cater its release around Anna.
Hopefully, the book will still find its way onto shelves at some point though so that we can all torture ourselves by having one last look into the love and struggles of one of Hollywood’s most adored couples.
At least we will always have these on screen moments to remember the good times!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
