Chris Pratt is Hollywood’s King of Summer as ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ Gets a Release Date

Chris Pratt continues to dominate the Summer blockbuster scene as his upcoming movie Cowboy Ninja Viking just got a June 2019 release date. Not much else is known about the film itself aside from its A-list actor, release date, and a generic plot, though. The film is based on the graphic novel by A.j. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo that tells the story of Duncan,  a man with a multiple personality disorder turned into a “triplet,” thanks to a secret government program. So essentially Duncan becomes part-Cowboy, part-Ninja, and part-Viking, which all culminate together to make him a badass assassin.

If Pratt doesn’t immediately come to mind when you think of this character than I would love to hear who you think would be a good fit! It seems like the perfect summer film for him to headline and knowing Pratt, it will probably turn into a super successful franchise. With a title like Cowboy Ninja Viking, how could it not?

Pratt actually signed onto the project three years ago and has been meeting with potential directors recently so hopefully, we will have an idea of who to expect behind the camera very soon.

In the meantime, you can catch Pratt in the upcoming The Avengers: Infinity War, which is set to hit theaters May 4, 2018, and Jurassic World: Hidden Kingdom on June 22, 2018.
