Chris Evans to Join Neil Blomkamp’s ‘Greenland’

With Chris Evan’s Broadway show Lobby Hero coming to a close, fans have been wondering what his next move may be. Avengers: Infinity War premiered with record-breaking numbers just weeks ago, but not much else was known about his next big move.

Over the weekend, it was announced that Evans next project is an exciting one. He’s slated to join Neil Blomkamp’s Greenland. A disaster film with, for now, few plot details. Deadline reports that it follows a family through a night of survival, specifically, a disastrous one.

It’s the story of a family’s fight for survival in the face of a cataclysmic natural disaster.

Production for Greenland is set to start in the fourth quarter of 2018.

CEO of Anton had this to say about the exciting prospect of the film.

‘When we read Greenland, we knew it was exactly the sort of film we wanted to make as we build the Anton brand — smart, character driven genre with action and heart. We are very excited to work alongside our friends at STX with such exceptional talent as Neill Blomkamp, Chris Evans and Basil Iwanyk.’

You can see Evans in another kind of disastrous fight now in Avengers: Infinity War.
