Chris Evans isn’t just a superhero on screen, he’s a man that many people have come to look up to in his day to day life too. He speaks out for what he believes in, isn’t afraid to stand alone if it means he’s standing for what’s good and encourages the people in his life just by being the guy that he is.
He’s also that ‘perfect’ guy that we’ve all dreamed up in our heads. He’s handsome, charming, talented, intelligent, compassionate, respectful, etc. We could go on (and on and on) but you get the point. Another thing about Chris is that he doesn’t share his personal life with his fans, at least not very often, but he has posted some totally sweet things about his dog on social media and one of those tweets caused quite a reaction from fans on Twitter today.
The post was of Chris curled up with his dog and the caption was ‘Really missing this guy right now’.

Fans and friends were immediately distraught which is why just moments later he posted that his dog was alive and well, he was just filming hours away from him and wanted to be with his pal.
To be clear, he's alive and well, just thousands of miles away for the next couple months.

The replies to his tweet ranged from hilarious to sweet and even really clever, but Seth Rogan’s took the cake, at least as far as we’re concerned.
Fuck dude I was like crying.

The fan replies were great too.

One fan even said that Chris’ dog would probably save us all after talking about a battle between Chris’ pet and Thanos. We agree, we agree.
I actually think the dog may be the one to save us all

If you are looking for a giggle, check out the threads under his Tweet. We have to admit, we’re glad Chris clarified the situation and that all things are okay. Chris has Dodger and Captain America has Bucky (albeit in his frozen hibernation glory) so we can all rest easy now.
‘…but I knew him’
