Chris Evans on ‘Black Panther’s Success, Marvel’s ‘It’ Factor, and ‘Black Widow’

Black Panther is the talk of the town right now. The film is a massive success with an impressive opening weekend, killer storyline, and talented cast. Fans around the world are singing its praises, and so are fellow stars. Especially those in the MCU.
Chris Evans was asked about Black Panther during a quick promo interview recently and he lit up immediately. He gave praise to Chadwick Boseman in Black Panther and said everything about the movie has been incredible so far. While he’s quite busy preparing for Lobby Hero, he never misses an opportunity to check up on his fellow MCU heroes and friends.
While he didn’t give any details away about future MCU films, he did say that Marvel has ‘it’ and he’s certain that’ll be the case when Captain Marvel comes out. Oh, and the Black Widow movie.
Not shocking, we know, as the rumor mill was already turning about a Black Widow standalone film in January. However, it’s still nice to hear someone close to MCU with so much ‘certainty’ that the movie will be happening.
While we don’t anticipate some secret end of the year release or any word to be cemented about it anytime soon, we’re going to revel in the fact that Black Widow’s story deserves to be told, and fans aren’t the only ones who know it.
