Isn’t there a lot to be excited about as we get ready for Chicago Fire season 11 episode 2 on NBC next week? We’re beginning to believe so. The premiere delivered a few surprises and introduced some new antagonists, in addition to fulfilling other expectations.
Carver is a new firefighter and Kidd has suspicions about him. It makes sense when you consider their history; she’s told Boden that she wants to be the one to teach Carver. For now, he seems agreeable but it remains to be seen how Carver will turn out as part of Firehouse 51.
Aside from that, how will the rest of this episode play out? Will there be more big events involving Violet and Hawkins? There’s a chance it will turn out to be true. Remember that with his transfer, the two may date openly, accepting that their relationship has changed considerably since most of this season up to now. They can have a happier, healthier love affair; while there is no assurance it will continue, it will lead to additional Gallo interactions next week
