Chewbacca Mom Gets a Special Surprise on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’

Just a few days ago, Candace Payne took the internet by storm when she created a record-breaking viral video in her car simply by capturing her absolute amusement while wearing her Chewbacca mask. Last night, she stopped by to visit The Late Late Show with James Corden where they had some surprises in store for her.
In what can be called a skit version of Carpool Karaoke, Payne took James to work though, she spent more time playing in her Chewbacca mask than she did driving. They were accompanied by a very special guest as well. Check out the skit below:
But that wasn’t all. Candace Payne hung out with James Corden and did an interview segment on the show as well. During the segment, they chatted about the origins of her viral video, how she feels about crushing records and how she wanted to prove to all of her friends and family that the Chewbacca mask is hers!
As a huge Star Wars fan, Payne was super psyched when she found out that she would be meeting J.J. Abrams to film the sketch for the show but, during the interview, Corden also reveals a very special message from the most famous Wookiee himself, Peter Mayhew.
