We are just a little over a month away from the highly-anticipated theatrical premiere of Warner Bros. and DC’s Aquaman. Fans can’t wait to see more of the underwater Atlantean world in theaters, but in the meantime to tied them over, the film just dropped seven incredibly stunning character posters.
The new posters were released on Wednesday and offer a vibrant look at each of the main characters from the film including Aquaman himself Arthur Curry, Mera, King Orm, Black Manta and more!

Jason Momoa reprises his role in the DC Universe as Arthur Curry (aka. Aquaman, half-human, half-Atlantean and King of the Seven Seas, ruler of Atlantis). The film also stars Amber Heard (as Mera), Patrick Wilson (as the villainous Orm/Ocean Master), Temuera Morrison (as Tom Curry), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (as Black Manta), Nicole Kidman (as Queen Atlanna), Dolph Lundgren (as King Nereus) and Oscar-nominee Willem Dafoe (as Nuidis Vulko).
The official film synopsis reads as follows:

Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.”[/row]
James Wan, best known for his background in the horror genre, particularly for his work on The Conjuring and Insidious films, is directing the film. This is Wan’s first dip into the superhero world. He also directed Furious 7which ended up being the top grossing film of the Fast and Furious franchise. Peter Safran is producing along with Zack and Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
Aquaman will splash down into theaters on December 21, 2018.
