If you’re attending San Diego Comic-Con this year and want to get a sneak peek at some of the new series hitting the small screen this fall, you’re in luck! The CW’s Charmed and CBS’ Magnum P.I. will debut their pilot episodes at the convention, giving audiences an exclusive first look at the buzzed-about reboots.
Starring Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blain, Rupert Evans, Charlie Gillespie and Ellen Tamaki, Charmed “centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.” The original Charmed aired from 1998-2006 on The WB and starred Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan, and Brian Krause. Originally starring Tom Selleck, Magnum P.I. aired from 1980-1988 on CBS. You can check out the full trailer for the new series below!
CBS will also be bringing a huge Star Trek: Discovery panel to Hall H in addition to an exclusive sneak peek and Kevin Williamson’s Tell Me A Story and a marathon screening of The Twilight Zone. The CW is bringing Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to the con for the first time as well.
San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 19-22, 2018. Be sure to check back to Fan Fest for all the SDCC coverage and more!

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
