Starting in June of this year, YOU can stay in the exact house featured in the holiday classic movie A Christmas Story located in Cleveland, Ohio. The home, located in the Tremont neighborhood and originally turned into a museum dedicated to the film, announced on Monday that it will be taking reservations for overnight stays.
In a news release announcing the new accommodation offerings, Brian Jones, founder and owner of A Christmas Story House and Museum said:
“We have had a lot of requests over the years from fans wanting to spend the night in the house. We are happy to finally be able to grant their request.”
According to WGNTV, visitors will have access to the private, third-floor loft and the entire house after it closes for public tours. Fans of the 1983 movie can sleep in Ralphie and Randy’s beds. There’s also a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa, along with full kitchen and bath. The cost ranges from $495 in June to $1,995 in December. Check the website for the availability calendar.
Just beware of blowing a fuse and knocking over the coveted “leg lamp”. Not a finger!!
