CBS Plans to Renew Supergirl for Season 2
CBS CEO Les Moonves told the Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference this morning of his plans to renew five of this years freshman TV series, including Supergirl.
The other shows that are on track for renewal are Limitless, Code Black, Beyond Borders, and Life In Pieces.
Moonves says they only ordered 17 pilots for this fall and doesn’t expect to pick up that many either. “no more than four or five…We don’t need that much.” He said.
His comments were an effort to persuade Wall Street that CBS still has a lot of growth left.
