Cast and Fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ Remember Super Fan Lisa Williams
It was a sad day in the Walking Dead family Tuesday, as one of its members lost her battle with Lung Cancer.
Lisa Williams was a super fan of The Walking Dead and honored that passion in many ways over the past several years, including at Walker Stalker Con events across the country. She was a lifetime Platinum pass holder at the events, and our own James Frazier released this tribute the day of her passing.
Not only was she a fan of the show, Lisa crossed paths with many people and also actors who attend conventions, including Andrew Lincoln pictured above. Everyone who knew her spent the past few days remembering what they loved about her-from her infectious smile, to her passionate and fun personality, to her work helping others and her community. Many of those who remember her also know one thing. She was a wonderful friend.
Lisa Williams was one that stood out, and she shone brightly. As well as always trying to better her community, she began and lead the charity Team Andy Lincoln which has raised over 35,000 for Barnardo’s-and donations can still be made here.
Many cast member of The Walking Dead paid tribute to her on their various social media accounts as well.
Real blessed that we get to meet a lot of great and special people…. Lisa always stood out as one of the best. She will be missed by all of us that were lucky enough to know her.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan added.

Absolutely devastated to learn that we lost one of the most lovely, generous fans I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Lisa was the epitome of kindness and always worked hard to improve conditions for her community.
Please send love and thoughts to her family during this difficult time.
Ross Marquand posted on his instagram account Tuesday.
Khary Payton posted a heartbreaking quote straight from his character Ezekiel,
And yet we smile.
The Walking Dead account also tweeted their condolences.
