Carpool Karaoke with James Corden is Going Prime Time
If you’re a fan of late night television, or late late night television, chances are you’ve seen Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. The segment shows James asking for help getting to work quickly, which means he needs to use the carpool lane. In turn, he asks a guest to be his passenger as they drive through Los Angeles.
These ‘rides to work’ involve a lot of singing, some outfit changes, and funny commentary as the car ride progresses. The best part about the entire thing? The guests aren’t just every day pals of James (even though they’re all his friends) they are absolute legends in the music industry. From Adele to Stevie Wonder and One Direction to Jennifer Lopez and even Bruno Mars – James has given us videos upon videos to watch and the segment only gets better.
While the segment is usually saved for late night television, on May 22nd it’ll go prime time as an hour long special. The network says it’ll host some of James’ favorite moments of Carpool Karaoke history as well as new ‘Toddlerography’ and new passengers.
