The official description from the Bottling Company’s official website is as follows:
“Among Starfleet’s legendary space explorers, it is Admiral James T. Kirk who most embodies the spirit of bold adventure.”
Captain James T. Kirk, played by William Shatner, was born in Iowa on planet Earth in 2233. As a young man, he spent some time on planet Tarsus IV, narrowly escaping death by the notorious Kodos the Executioner. Kirk was admitted to Starfleet Academy in 2250 and was the only cadet to win the outrageous ‘Kobayashi Maru” character test. He served on the Starship Republic as an ensign, and was posted aboard the U.S.S. Farragut immediately after graduating in 2254.
In 2264, he took command of the Starship Enterprise on a five year adventure of space exploration. This made him a legend seeing as during that time, he led one of the first and only missions of this kind. While at it, he prevented a Romulan Empire war, and ultimately saved Earth when he went back in time to undo a terrestrial accident.
Kirk was a loyal man who put his career at risk for the sake of his entire team. He rescued his first officer and friend, Spock, who was believed to be dead on the Genesis Planet, commandeered a Klingon ship inorder to prevent an ecological disaster from destroying his home, in 2293, he entered a terrestrial abnormality while helping to save the Starship Enterprise-B on its first voyage only to return in 2371 where he died on duty while protecting the inhabitants of the Veridian system. He was laid to rest atop a mountain on Veridian III.
The captain took us on adventures as he explored strange and new worlds where he brought peace to conflicting planets.
The new James T. Kirk whiskey celebrates his famous unrelenting spirit for adventure.
